Wearable Art: A Nod to Other Artists

Finding like-minded people is a lifelong discovery. As social beings, we look for, and spend time with those who see the world as we do. The art world seems to me to be no different. We may use different media, but there are common aspects of our creativity. I believe that Appreciation - yes, I used a capital 'A' - is one that stands out for me. Even if another artist's work isn't to our taste, we can Appreciate the time, technique, experience and a piece of their heart/soul that contributes to the outcome.

Suzi Bate has been making fun, jewelry pieces for a few years and the bright colours and funky style really appeal to me. Consequently, I have purchased many, many items from Suzi. Here is a photo of one of my silk scarves worn on my wrist paired with one of Suzi's gypsy-boho bracelets.
