"Life is Full"

I heard this phrase last year and have been incorporating it into daily conversation to replace, "I'm so busy". Unfortunately, the word busy doesn't seem to have a very positive feeling - as in "She's too busy" or "Sorry, I can't - I'm busy". Using the word 'full' reminds me of a cornucopia; filled to almost bursting with good things and blessings. It's a perspective that I'm enjoying.

The first months of 2019 have offered many changes. All are opportunities for growth.

Some events that have come to fruition are:

Two pieces chosen in two juried art exhibits; Just Gates / April 3-28 / mixed media / Newton Cultural Centre Gallery and The Built World Around Us / April 27-August 17 / photography / Surrey Photography Club at the Surrey Art Gallery.

Two show & sale markets; Hops & Shops Spring Market (Ride to Conquer Cancer fundraiser) / May 5 / silk & cotton scarves plus mixed media pendants and For the Love of Art and Moms (SDSS Dry Grad fundraiser) May 11 / silk & cotton scarves plus mixed media pendants.

Life is full.
