Life and Renovations

I've decided not to let life get in the way of visual arts anymore. A conscious effort will be made to regularly enjoy making art. I did let renovations get in the way, briefly, in my art studio because the newly-painted room, with bright white baseboards (and some culling of unnecessary items), is now more organized and pleasant to inhabit.

This weekend, I dyed a cotton scarf for a birthday gift, dyed and hand painted a silk scarf and finished a mixed media piece for a wedding gift commission.
